When shopping for groceries made sure to pick sliced mushrooms to Prepare Gravy and a snack item with these Mushrooms.we also know that Mushrooms are a low-calorie food usually eaten raw or cooked .This food is low in Saturated Fat and Sodium, and very low in Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Dietary Fiber, Protein, Vitamin C, Folate, Iron, Zinc and Manganese, and a very good source of Vitamin D, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Pantothenic Acid, Phosphorus, Potassium, Copper and Selenium .
For women who are at risk of hormone-dependent breast cancer, Mushrooms may be an important diet addition.One cup of mushrooms provides a good, very good, or excellent source of 18 different vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant phytonutrients. To maximize their flavor and the retention of their nutrients it is important to not to overcook them and also make sure that color and texture changes in mushrooms over a 6-8 day period, including color changes that were associated with the mushrooms' phytonutrient content (discoloration was related to a reduction in these important nutrients so Always Plan to cook Mushroom at an early stage rather than causing discoloration in turn loosing all the nutrients .careful refrigeration of mushrooms as soon as you've arrived back home from the grocery store. Leaving mushrooms out on the countertop is worth avoiding, and you never want to store them even temporarily in a cabinet.
Mushroom Gravy goes well with steamed Rice and also good enough with Roti's or Naans . and Mushroom 65 can be taken as starter or nice snack item .
Mushroom Gravy :
Mushroom Thinly Sliced – 15
Green Peas – 1/4 cup
Cashew nuts – 10-12
Salt – To Taste
Red chilly Powder-to Taste
Tomato – 1 Chopped Finely
Onions –1 Chopped finely
Green chilies-2 Slit
Coriander Powder- 1 Tsp.
Cashew Nut Gravy :Add Cashew nuts in milk Let it soak for 15-20 min and Grind to a smooth Paste and keep it aside.
Take a Pan Add 1 Tbsp. of oil , when the oil is hot then add green chilies. finely chopped Onions and Mushroom Let them fry in oil and then add Green Peas, tomato Pieces Let them cook until tomatoes become Soft then add Cashew nut Gravy let it cook for a while then add dry ingredients Coriander Powder, Salt ,Red Chilly Powder mix it well Garnish with cilantro.
Mushroom 65:
Mushroom-15
Salt-To Taste
Pepper Powder- 1/4 Tsp.
Corn flour- 1 Tbsp.
Maida or All Purpose Flour- 1 Tbsp.
Red color- Pinch
Egg-1
Mix all the Above ingredients and Fry in the Oil and Drain them in the tissue Paper and keep it aside.
Tempering :Add 1 Tbsp. of oil and then add 2 Slit Green Chilies ,1 tsp. of Ginger garlic paste ,Tsp. of Coriander Powder,1/2 Tsp. of red chilly Powder,salt and Sprinkle some water at this point of time and add fried mushrooms and then with this mushrooms will coat with each other with all the dry ingredients
